First Oversea Family Trip In Sydney! Opera House, St Mary's Cathedral ~

It was time for us to explore Sydney! Awww excited, we took some pic at the entrance while waiting for everyone to get ready hehe weather was chill and windy, everyone brought along sweater~ see how everyone was excited hehe and i kept asking my younger bro to take pic for me hahaha

Okay so we had a tour around the city before we reached the destination, my uncle suggested to go to opera house in the night, couldn't remember why haha so he drove us to some park where we can took a pic of the opera house first from afar. Grandma, uncle and uncle Thomas parked the car beside road and we budak kampung went down and excitedly taking photos while they waited us in the car since the view is very common to them.

Mom and dad decided to sit on random ground, because we always see angmos love sitting on ground so they followed them haha.

Okay wefie done with mini opera house at the back! Cute~! Hehe was excited to see the famous opera house.

Alright the next stop is the St. Mary Cathedral, although we are not Christian but the beautiful building is worth the visit.

This is not the church, just some random western building we saw while on the way to the church. Chapter Hall, sounds like somewhere from Harry Porter to me haha

This is the church! Wow a huge one. I think this is my first time visiting a church, we were not allowed to make too much noise inside the church as there were prayers going on.

Confession room, my first time seeing one!

Architectural wise, to me it's a very beautiful building, and the colourful windows (?), nice. Interesting experience for someone who had never been to a church before.

As the church is located in the city centre, hence we took a walk to the nearby busy business area with malls etc. On the way we passed by a fountain and took some pics. I think we are really not talented in taking nice picture, it's either blur, out of focus, object blocking the lens, slanted or we were not ready to pose hahahaha

After spending some time in the malls, looking at things we could not afford 🤣🤣 we went back after having lunch inside the mall food court and had some rest. After dinner, we went out for the opera house!

So the opera house is actually a place to watch opera hahhaa didn't realise before this. So actually the public can enter the building, but have to pay for ticket if you want to watch the opera. The roof (?) of the building actually is a big screen which can play some random videos or pictures loll oh on the way to the opera house we passed by an underground area with lots of cafe. Cool weather beside the sea, there was a lot of nice restaurants over there with really good ambience! Should come here with loved one again hehehe and enjoy the atmosphere.

Of course we need to take a wefie! As it's beside the sea, it's so windy and cold at the night, freezing cold. We managed to take some pics,  but blur one, better than none! Hahaha so this marked the end of the day!

First Oversea Family Trip in Sydney! The D-Day!

My family seldom go travelling together, part of it is because we don't have that extra money as travelling would normally spent some $$, also we had to go to school when we were young and parents had to work to give us food. Now that my elder bro and me have started working, and only my younger bro is still in university, our family's financial condition is better that we can afford an oversea trip together! And we have chosen Sydney, since my uncle is there and we could save a lot on accommodation, transportation and food! Yeay hehe 6 of us the air tix was about 5++k for return trip in October 2019, cannot really remember, my dad paid most of it haha and i paid for mine.

After months of waiting for our first oversea family trip together, finally it's the D-Day! We went airport at midnight as the flight was early morning, took a bus from TI directly to KLIA 2, what an exciting trip!! Hehe our first buggy ride experience, too bad the photo came out blurrr, should have changed to a better phone 😭

My first flight experience with the grandma! Hehe

Departed early in the morning, reached Sydney in late night. The weather was chilly, and we were excited to go to a Western country, everything looked interesting, the houses, the roads, the signboards, the people, we were like budak kampung hahhaa Anyway we had MacD for dinner as it was late and most of the shops closed at 5pm, what a life!

It was late so we were not able to explore much, after dinner we went home straight and rested for the day~~! Guess everyone was excited and couldn't wait to explore Sydney, everyone woke up so early the next day haha the first thing we were amazed by is the design of my uncle's home. It's really a Western kind of home, beautiful, simple yet modern, let me show some pictures here.

Outside view of the house early in the morning, with some sunlight, awww the environment is just nice. They installed a wooden deck with a mini garden which was a swimming pool, a garden is definitely better to add some green!

The living room, a spacious and cozy one, the bathroom which was also super spacious with all the washing machine and dryer inside, the kitchen with a bar table which we spent time preparing the ingredients for meals, and the TV room/game room woth heater which we spent our nights watching horror movies together with snacks and also enjoying ourselves with nintendo switch!! Hahaha what a memories, normally we spent night time at home as all the shops outside were not operating after 5pm so there was nothing much to do outside, and also my grandma and uncle Thomas who was too tired to spend the whole day out there due to their age. Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves very much even at home, very comfortable, hehehehe

Couldn't really remember where we went on the first day haha has been quite some time, so i would post some random pics of us exploring the neighbourhood hehe

Everyone of us were excited just to walk around the neighbourhood haha of course we took some nice pic for us to post on social media as well hehe and to make sure it looked obvious that we were in oversea, must take a pic with the roadsign haha

You would not be able to see a mini boat parked beside the road in Malaysia, haha we were excited to see one here~ and it was quite common here, there were a lot parked beside the road ~

Alright that was about it of our first day here before we started to travel around Sydney, to be continued! Hehe
